Kept by the Power of God is a course designed to inspire and equip believers with the understanding and tools necessary to live a life deeply rooted in faith. Drawing from Dr. David L. Monk's personal journey of faith, the first part of the course delves into his autobiographical story, showcasing the transformative power of the Holy Spirit. This narrative is not just a testament to God's keeping power but also serves as a beacon of hope, encouraging participants to reflect on their own spiritual journey and the ways God has been present in their lives.
The second part of the course transitions into a more structured exploration of seven universal principles that Dr. Monk identifies as keys to experiencing the power of God. These principles, revealed during his own times of struggle and hardship, are presented as a framework for understanding how to rely on God's strength in every aspect of life. Through lectures, interactive discussions, and personal reflections, participants will be guided to understand and apply these principles, fostering a deeper reliance on the keeping power of God.
By integrating personal narrative with practical theology, this course offers a comprehensive approach to spiritual growth. Participants will engage with the material not only intellectually but also emotionally and spiritually, facilitating a holistic journey of faith. The course aims to empower individuals to navigate life's challenges with faith and resilience, drawing on the power of God as their ultimate source of strength and guidance.
In essence, Kept by the Power of God is more than just a course; it's an invitation to embark on a lifelong journey of faith, supported by the insights and experiences of someone who has walked the path before. It's an opportunity for personal transformation, offering the tools and insights necessary to live out one's faith in everyday life, anchored in the knowledge and experience of God's unwavering presence and power.

Dr. Monk has taught in the areas of Urban Ministry, Church Leadership, and Missions for Fuller Theological Seminary in California. He was saved and filled with the Holy Ghost and eventually called into the ministry at the age of 19.
Today, Dr. Monk continues to serve as both a pastor and a university professor. This book is a culmination of his life-long journey of faith. It is his prayer that this book will richly bless you in the discovery of the keys to God's keeping power through the storms of everyday life.
